Probably just a stupid comment. But maybe also because it was made on Thursday, and the commenter assumed the drop (now called a "dip") indicated bad things about the state of the economy, overall. But just cause the overall economy is going down, doesn't mean an individual choosing to shop on a particular day is making a bad decision.
