I was going to title this post "Remember that Death Note Doujinshi?" before I realized that I haven't posted about it since December. And my flist is kinda bigger now than it was then. So the answer is probably no. Explain? I'd be glad to!

So there you have it. SUGGESTIONS concerning either the dialogue or art are MORE THAN APPRECIATED. Especially for the parts telophase and I mentioned, but anything else would also be good. Art changes can't be implemented immediately, but could go into effect later. As for dialogue, telophase wants more and I want less, and we could really use a third opinion. (PLEASE someone help me edit down Chief Yagami's lines. They SUCK.)

The assignment was print advertisement for a tv show or movie in four or fewer colors; this originally had three (white/black/red) but all I could find was a photocopy, so. Ah, nostalgia. I was a cheater then too.

I'm headed back to high school for the last day of band camp tomorrow. Senior skits. And then I have to contact V or else risk being out of town for the shindig. When is it, V? Am I good or evil? Did you know F didn't know about O? Poor, poor F, so chronically out of the loop.

It's hard to watch, of course, nothing but self-congratulatory speeches and minority guest speakers offering empty praise. Every time anyone says anything concrete, it's wrong. Or just one-sided. These conventions were never meant to please anyone but the campaign contributors, anyway.

CNN says that Democrats dislike John Kerry's (non)stance on the war. We supposedly want him to take a more black-and-white-out-for-blood approach. Which is true, but that was Howard Dean's spiel and it certainly didn't work for him. I'd personally settle for someone with convictions that somewhat match with mine.

On a lighter note, there's a livejournal community dedicated to slashing him and Edwards together: johnxjohn. And. That. is. SO. Wrong. Arg, why am I taking this all so seriously?! Must lighten up.

I've been trying to read Sandman, but it's hard. No, not because the art on the earlier issues is so awful - I think that adds atmosphere. Because the main character looks just like Neil Gaiman. What is up with that? It's so weird! Also, his mask is the head of H.P. Lovecraft's Cthulu.
