Ceci n'est pas un fanart
Jan. 6th, 2005 04:32 amI have a reliable internet again! Have some celebatory Samurai Champloo not!fanart!

I found out you can go to online fabric retailers like this one and copy the fabric photographs for use as patterned backgrounds. And lo, I did. Voila! Insta-art! Happy New Year! Jin's outfit is made of "Samurai Fish", which is somehow incredibly funny. It's not!fanart because it's an official art copy job (well, obviously). Jin and Fuu are total imitations, only Mugen is mine - or his body is, at any rate. (You can shut up, I didn't mean it that way). That's why he has impossible knees.
Hmm, and since Samurai Champloo is really Cowboy Bebop with Outer Space --> Historic Japan, Jazz --> Hip Hop, Bounty Hunters --> Bodyguards, and Spike's Hair --> Mugen's Hair, here's an art project I did three years ago:
Why you bringing up old stuff?
The assignment was print advertisement for a tv show or movie in four or fewer colors; this originally had three (white/black/red) but all I could find was a photocopy, so. Ah, nostalgia. I was a cheater then too.
One last thing!
"Samurai Champloo is da bomb XD"
