So I made a poll. But then I thought, a betting pool would be so much more fun! So here's the deal: I'm allowing a maximum bet of &50, where &50 is just like $50 except the money's imaginary. I want you to leave a comment with your money split however you like on whomever you like. Here are my odds (and no, they don't add up to exactly one. I rounded for prettier numbers).

Payout is standard: for every & you bet, I pay the the right-hand number times that if you're right. (Virtually, of course.) So if you bet &10 on Misa, you get &990. Simple, right?

I'm screening comments. If you comment and it's not to place a bet, I'll unscreen it. This game is open to everyone, even random people I don't know, and will end as soon as one of the above characters dies or the series ends, when I will announce payouts.

EDIT: Raye Penbar? Why the heck would anyone want to bet on Raye... fine, fine, if that's the way it's going to be. I'll give 1:14999 odds, out of respect for the total randomness of that bet.

EDIT2: Game's over, telophase wins! I lose, considering I have to pay her &1200 when I only took in ~&450 from bets (some people did not specify amounts). Anyway, since the game is over, comments have all been unscreened.

On the path to self-destruction.

Yesterday, 11pm, still 250 pages of reading[1] and who-knows-how-many hours of Math homework to do. Naturally, I panic and write fanfic.

The second set uses mostly orginal charcters, so they might(?) make sense even if you've never seen the series. Umm, maybe. (Dunno why I keep linking these things, everyone on my flist who cares about the Legend of the Galactic Heroes is a member at iserlohn anyway.)


ANOTHER THING. I was going through old AMVs (=Anime Music Videos), and I found two Escaflowne vids. Both of them ask the question, what if Hitomi was making it all up? But one is from the series, and one is from the (much more disturbed) movie, so they come to TOTALLY DIFFERENT conclusions. I thought that was neat, so I upped them. (They're also both REALLY REALLY good.)
