Right, art. It's a little strange, if you catch my drift. AU would be putting it mildly. I colored extensively on the computer for the first time ever, though, which is the important thing. Just imagine the Naruto characters, and then imagine them really, really tiny and with a penchant for riding small animals around. Now imagine the laws of physics have taken a holiday, and you might get something like these:
Shikamaru is wearing a tunic and riding a buffed up pygmy monkey-ish sort of creature. No, I don't know how he keeps his balance either. Background is straight outta the manga. Larceny! Art theft! Copyright infringement!
Naruto is a punk. Notice the lack of wind. Also notice that if I can't even explain how Shikamaru is staying on, then I certainly can't explain how Nauto is. He's riding a flying trout-catfish, I think? Something like that. Yes, and this time I drew the background (such as it is)!
I was also going to do Sasuke riding a bird, until I realized that unless it was an ostrich-like bird he'd be sitting on top of the wings, and if it was an ostrich-like bird then he might as well be riding a chocobo. Which would just be wrong.
