Jun. 10th, 2005 09:44 pm1. I have an internet connection again!
2. I’m not asking for air conditioning but it would be soooo wonderful to live in an apartment with ventilation right now.
3. Clicking the little person in front of a livejournal name (eg,
sub_divided) gets you that person’s userinfo. HOW DID I NOT KNOW THIS.
4. Disturbing resemblance. (People who've read Hot Gimmick will know why this is disturbing. Or why don't I tell you right now: Hot Gimmick's main character is so totally off that any comparison of her to any other character is disturbing, because she has a personality that shouldn't be inflicted on any other characters.)
5. I’ve lost faith in Stephen King. You know the website he’s writing daily articles on literary history for, http://www.todayinliterature.com? (You should, it’s cool, lots of quotations and his topics are so interesting that I wonder how they could not be common knowledge. Archives are reserved for paying members, but if you save articles to your harddrive as they become available like I do this is not an issue. Unless you also lose your harddrive like I did. DAMN.)
Here’s the thing: he’s started to repeat. I saw that Tolstoy article two years ago! And that Pushkin article is from last year! It’s completely unfair to charge for old content, I protest.
6. The Queen’s Fool: Dear God, why am I still reading this book? (No really, I’d like to know.)
7. People keep asking me about last Sunday’s “hurricane.” Michiganders, correct me if I’m wrong, but aren’t we 1,000 miles from the nearest coast?!
8. So much for the Tsubasa anime. *gives up in disgust because it takes ten minutes to do what the manga did in three panels*
9. Ummm, is there anyone willing to look over that Juuni Kokki fic after I finish it? Sorry, this isn’t something I’d normally ask (because I’m usually all about implying how much I’d like feedback, aha), but this one is more…it has more “original” in it. I feel exposed.
