Oban Star Racers episodes on bittorent
Oban Star Racers is a joint French/Japanese production with cute SD characters against cell-shaded, computer-animated backgrounds. It's playing on ABC family on Saturdays, I believe. The story is that 25 years ago, Earth was invaded and nearly conquered by aliens called Krogs, but saved by another alien race, with this condition: Earth must participate in the "Oban World Cup," an intergalactic racing tournament, to be held sometime in the future.
The Earth world council, having received both the message and the pardon, proceeds to completely ignore it. -_-; Until they are reminded one day before the race and hastily throw a team together. Included are Eva-alias-Molly, her father Don Wei (who doesn't know he's her father), two Japanese mechanics, a hotshot pilot, and a trigger-happy gunner (the first male in the opening (no, he's not Molly's father, I suspect he's a love interest -_-;;;)).
Note: THIS IS NOT A REC. My first reaction to this series was to wonder whether George Lucas is making any money from it. It's a complete and total rip-off of the podracing scene in Phantom Menance, all the way down to the character and some of the vehicle designs. Plus I'm getting weird Molly x EVERYONE vibes which, considering the ages, is sort of...not typical.

The French and Japanese openings are (extremely) low-quality flash videos, unfortunately. But! Since I'm nice like that, I attached the French music to the English visuals so that no one here will have to suffer the awful, awful American music:
