taking stock & catching up
Apr. 30th, 2007 01:53 pmThere was some "what went wrong at college" stuff here, but I edited it out.
Moving on:
a. Tomorrow is May 1st and still no volunteer for
fanthology! Please, is anyone willing to sponsor this month? You only need to post twice (on May 1st and May 16th, to announce the new themes) as an admin, and twice more with fic recommendations. I haven't kept on top of the community so this is really short notice. I'm sorry ;_;. But if you're willing to do it I'll...be greatful? Er. Just reply to this entry, or the community sigh-up post (here). We also need sponsors for June and July.
b. My to-bookblog pile is23 18 books high. That's too many to cover at my current rate of progress, and I keep reading more. ^^; To help solve the problem I've decided to revive the backlog meme, but this time with a twist:
Comment with a number between 1 and 18, and I will reply with a (short) description and review of the book I have (randomly) assigned to that number.
It's kind of like playing the lottery. Except everyone is a "winner" and the "prizes" are book reviews. Erm. Do it for me? I promise there are a few exciting YA fantasy books mixed in with all the boring nonfiction history textbooks I had to read for school.
