I'll be honest, here. I absolutely do not:
1. have decent taste in music
2. download everything at [livejournal.com profile] fst
3. download more than 10% of what's at [livejournal.com profile] fst
4. have my harddrive with me. (Technically, I do have the drive, but I've lost the cable that connects it to my laptop.)

With no access to the mp3s themselves, I went hunting through [livejournal.com profile] fst's archives and made this list from memory. It's almost entirely arbitrary. In no particular order:

Kamen Rider FST, [livejournal.com profile] team7
*_*
The Lions of Al-Rasshan, [livejournal.com profile] fable
Takes a theme and runs with it? See Poland and accept no substitutions.
It, [livejournal.com profile] mrmoonpants
Less an FST than an anthropology project. I dig.
Tokyo is a Lonely Place, [livejournal.com profile] darenciel
All of the city fsts are good.
Battle of Serenity Valley, [livejournal.com profile] trekkim
Great war music.
Outer Space, [livejournal.com profile] fabulous_papaya
Sold on theme alone.
The Heist, [livejournal.com profile] petronia
^_^
WRC FST, [livejournal.com profile] surlykitty
o_o
Bruno and Boots, [livejournal.com profile] riko
I enjoy the music and wish I'd read the book
Sophie and Howl, [livejournal.com profile] memlu
It's charming.

Honorable mention Soshite Koi Ga Hajimaru EP, Motorcycle Diaries FST, Bus Gamer EP, Vash/Wolfwood FST, annnnd the fst that has mysteriously disappeared, a december Fruits Basket mix. 13 tracks, an intro plus one song per animal. I liked a lot of the music in that one. (Well, I liked a lot of the music in this fst too, which ought to tell you something.) As soon as I regain access to my harddrive, mp3s from the above set (including mysterious vanishing Furuba FST) are going up.

I like the next set for reasons that have nothing to do with music.

Hot Gimmick, [livejournal.com profile] nyanko_chan
Ryouki x Hatsumi, it's terrible, I love it. Just read the series description!
Labyrinth, [livejournal.com profile] jokersama
All David Bowie All the Time
Vampires, [livejournal.com profile] susurration
bad vampire jokes + bad vampire music = automatic win
Niou/Yagyuu, [livejournal.com profile] sesame_seed
For the story alone, this is worth it.
Xenosaga, [livejournal.com profile] rally_vincent
Pure crack.
Anakin Skywalker x Padme Amidala, [livejournal.com profile] hemlocke
The bollywood version. I can't stand listening to it, but it's nice to think about.
Ferris Bueller/Arthur Dent, [livejournal.com profile] psychomachia
Ditto [livejournal.com profile] sesame_seed's fst

While I'm at it here are some of my favorites from 2004:

Bleach/Zombie Powder FST, [livejournal.com profile] xerosphere
A collection of songs I enjoy individually, but that don't necessarily go together
Catwoman, [livejournal.com profile] stray_dog_strut
Has style.
Rin Kobayashi, [livejournal.com profile] oberstein
Really fits the character.
Prince of Tennis: Fan Meets Fandom, [livejournal.com profile] petronia
Proving you don't need to know anything about a series to laugh at it?
Jin/Mugen/Fuu EPs, [livejournal.com profile] yuchan
Tone-perfect.
Kurosaki Hisoka, [livejournal.com profile] quixotic_sense
Really fits the character and is a blast to listen to.
Shaman King, [livejournal.com profile] tokyofish
Yeah, the 50+ song one. I like the puns.

Can't remember the rest without harddrive. Woe. My manga is on that drive too.
